Service Description
Replaces the rear differential OEM rear rubber bushing which allows too much flex and movement of the rear differential due to the axial and radial torque forces generated by the drivetrain. This unwanted flex and movement leads to the premature failure of the 14mm mounting bolt causing catastrophic damage to the differential, driveshaft, rear axle parts and exhaust system. Installing this billet aluminum bushing permanently eliminates the possibility of any movement of the rear differential and is inexpensive insurance against the catastrophic failure of the driveline area. During our lengthy R&D and testing process, we used 3 test vehicles with varying stages of tuning and use, one was a mildly modified daily driver, another was a moderately modified 10 sec. 1/4 mile daily driver and the third vehicle is the record holding X3M with a built motor and built transmission. In all 3 test vehicles, our solid bushing proved itself through each punishing launch and 1/4 mile drag race. In each case, the OEM rear differential bolt survived with negligible stress markings. As a complete solution, we are including a Belmetric M14 bolt w/matching washers and lock nut to work with our billet aluminum bushing. This solid bushing will not add noise, vibration or harmonics because our proprietary design incorporates special materials that have been proven over the years to work in this particular application and use.

Tuning: Please make sure your car arrives with at least half a tank of fuel and is always run on the best fuel, either Tesco 99 Momentum or Shell V-Power. Some vehicles may also incur a slight extra charge depending on if it takes longer to tune them; for example due to having to remove the ECU to tune them. Card Capture & Security: To streamline scheduling and protect everyone’s time, all online appointments require a valid debit or credit card to be kept on file. Your card information is securely stored and will not be charged unless your booking is accepted Card details are tokenised and encrypted via our payment processor, which is PCI DSS v4.0–compliant. We have no direct access to your full card number; only the last four digits and expiry date are visible for reference. Storing a card on file authorises pre‑authorisation holds or post‑service charges strictly under the terms in this policy. Post‑Service Settlement: After tuning is complete, you may pay with the card on file or another accepted method at collection. Unpaid balances after 7 days will be automatically charged to the stored card, with an email receipt issued. Cancellation: To cancel a booking please email us as soon as possible at: cancellations@mkperformancetuning.com There is a £50 cancellation fee on any booking that includes this policy.
